After years of working in the insurance industry at some local agencies Peter quested out onto his own. In 1984 he founded the Cormie Agency in Argyle, a few years later he purchased what was then known as the Kinner Agency in Whitehall. Shortly there after he decided to better serve the people in the area and he opened a location in Hudson Falls.

Over the years what started from just a few loyal customers has flourished into one of the most reputable and customer friendly Agencies in upstate New York. Peter takes great pride that most of the new business that is acquired is from current clients referring them to his Agency.

Peter credits his dependable, hardworking, friendly employees for most of his success and has been heard many times saying that without them he would not have such a successful business. With over a combined total of 100 years of experience in the insurance industry, Peter and his staff are always willing to help you with all of your insurance needs while offering competitive rates.
